These bits are from around 1982-83, when Grease was on DC101.

I got them from a guy I knew, Bill Jasper, when I was in the Navy.
Bill was from the DC area, and had made a 120 minute cassette tape with these bits he had recorded off the radio. We must have listened to that cassette 100's of times. I made a copy, and listened to it for many years after that too, even after I had lost touch with Bill.

Time Frame: Now I would guess they were from 1982/83, because we were in school together in 1983, and he recorded the tape before he left for school. So I am only guessing the year.  But since I saw that Grease was on DC101 starting in '82, well, that sorta defines the earliest year it could be.

And even more importantly, one of the Wayne Newton bits talks about when Wayne was put in place of the Beach Boys one 4th of July concert. That happened in '83, so that pretty much defines the date.

And besides, Steve (www.greaseman.org) told me my original dates were wrong, and he oughta know. He is the expert on Grease, not me.

So I ripped the tape, and came up with these MP3 files. I wanted for the rest of his fans to have access to these also, in case they weren't in anyone else's collections. I added "jasper" to the titles of the mp3s, to distinguish them from others.

NOTE: the tape probably stretched or whatever through all those years. So it puts Grease's voice a bit higher pitched and faster than it really is. I can't fix that. But the skits are still good.

I am not going to go into great detail on this website, as I just want to get these out there for other Greaseman fans to enjoy.

So, there they are, in the order they were on the
tape. >>>>

Here is a link to a site with TONS of greaseman info and bits on it:  http://www.greaseman.org/

I borrowed the picture of Grease from that site. Steve said it'd be okay. Thanks Steve.
